Are you really in the truth?

help me to understand your faith in God When all the evidence in the world points to Genesis being totally incorrect in Mathew and Luke there is a complete geneology of Jesus Christ through all his fathers back to Adam and Eve and the ages of all the fathers is mentioned in Genesis so biblical scholars estimate that Adam and Eve lived some 6000 years ago. However if you look at scientific work in geology, palentology, geneology, anthropology,Astronomy, are you honestly saying that all these credible scientists around the world are wrong when they have found human remains that can date back 200000 years are you also saying that the aboringinal people are lying when their history dates back 75000 years as recordings in rock paintings in caves and remains have been found all over the world at these dates this is using a number of different dating techinues as well as carbon dating and sedimentry dating these paintings have animals depicted in them but never any dinosaurs Also if there was a flood that wiped out all land animals and humans not on the ark how is it that there is abundant flora and fauna and human beings in Australia when Captain Cook first arrived they should have been killed in the flood. If you think they migrated how is that there is not a trace of kangaroos or wombats or koalas in the african and American continents. Why would Australia need to keep quaranteed flora and fauna from coming in to Australia if the animals were here before. In Australia there is a foreign cat problem they kill all our native wild life now if cats were here many years before they would have wiped out all of the fauna.

The Evidence without using evolution is overwhelming I am asking for help to understand how can you believe in Jesus? if Genesis is wrong. Without Adam and Eve losing everlasting life there is no need for Jesus to give us a ransom sacrifice of blood and grace to restore man back to everlasting life. To often I see racism against secular people yes it is racism the bible says don’t become unevenly yolked with non beleivers and not to marry into a non beleiver it also calls me an antichrist because I doubt the bible also if you want separate schools you are saying my children are not good enough for your children.

Note you can choose to ignore the evidence but the people who are truthful to themselves will study science at university to find the truth otherwise they are turning a blind eye to there faith and God does not favour people who say they believe but deep down they don’t he calls them hypocrites.

Thanks for your comments. There is actually a lot of very credible scientific evidence for a young Earth (approx. 6000 years).

I recommend you spend some time researching your questions at the Creation Ministries International website. It is maintained by highly qualified and experienced scientists in all the disciplines you mention. They can address your questions much more fully than I could attempt to do in a forum such as this.

I would encourage everyone to know why they believe what they believe, and to honestly evaluate the evidence, not just blindly accept what they have been told, no matter how "expert" the source. Just because something is in a school text book doesn't mean its necessarily so. I remember a set of Encyclopaedia Britannicas I grew up with that said an atom was "the smallest indivisible unit of matter). Science is stilll learning. The Bible, however, remains as the true Word of God.

I'd rather put my faith in an unchangable God then men's changable knowledge and understanding.

I had moved to the Central Coast in April to be near my sister and her partner and to get away from Sydney after losing my husband and my home in January last year. Soon after losing my husband I took my then 13 year old son to Malaysia to look after my brother who had just undergone open heart surgery and my then 87 year old mother who had a stroke whilst my brother was in hospital for his surgery. I guess she got stressed about his situation and hers should anything happen to him as he was the last remaining member of our family living with her.
It was an incredible year as I continuted to trust God and keep my faith that He would deliver me and my family!
A year later just after Easter I returned to Sydney with my mother able to walk and look after her basic needs and my brother also well and able to do what was necessary to run the household needs and attend to our mother's needs as well.
I did not want to live in Sydney and God answered my prayers yet again and led my sister who lives in Lake Munmorah to ask me to move here and I did and God has continued to bless me and guide me and protect me and my family.
On arriving here I also prayed for a good local Christian radio station and He led me to find Rhemafm and I know it was yet another blessing from God. Thank you to all who work hard to keep this station on air. God bless

I'm the Ellie who found Rhema though my mechanic's loan car. I feel I should explain my story in its entirety.
I born into a Christian (so called) Cult, which was extremely detrimental to many souls and destroyed many lives. After i left the cult was very fearful of any form of Christianity. For at least twenty years I went on my own path and thought I was ok.....

Until I got into that loan car and heard Rhema. I had to pull over as I was so emotional. I heard music that was so powerful and words that made me cry. Rhema opened my eyes to a beautiful loving God.
I certainly didn't give my life to the Lord then but was open to listening and learning more. I would listen to Rhema when I was on my own.
Last year I suffered from severe depression and anxiety due to financial problems and began to listen to Rhema more and more.
This year I started to go to Church and attend Recovery at EV.
I made a commitment to Christ our Lord only a few weeks ago.
Rhema is now on consistently in my home. I work from home and it gets me though the day. My husband is not a Christian but is beginning to see a change in me. For those of us who have partners who are not Christians it is vital for us to have Rhema - It is a long time between Church services (a week) for us to keep in touch with the Lords world.
Thank you so much Rhema for sharing this journey with me.
If only I had discovered a Christian radio station like this when i was growing up in the cult - I would have realised that God loves us no matter who we are. Thank you Rhema

sometimes when i hear a great song on your radio station i just pick out some of the lyrics or the chorus & type them into a google search (along with the word 'lyrics') & about 9 times out of 10 i find it easy.

loving the new variety of songs.
